Graem Yates- "Portraits of Cracker Cowboys"

Graem Yates is the son of a sharecropper, and is a graduate of the P. K. Yongue Laboratory School at the University of Florida; the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida; and the executive program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is widely known for his paintings of corporate executives. He also illustrated and wrote This I Know, a collection of stories behind 12 gospel hymns. He prepared a mural on the life of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Mr. Yates is a Distinguished Lecturer of the Strom Thurmond Institute. He lives in Sarasota, Florida.
